The “New Age” of Avatars

It all begins with an idea.

One of the movies that I have enjoyed in recent times is the James Cameron produced AVATAR (2009). In this movie, an injured (paralysed leg downwards) marine is offered a unique life changing opportunity to make money by travelling to a habitable moon known as Pandora to help a mega company mine a precious mineral known as Octanium. In return, he is to be offered "new legs." However, events take an interesting twist. After being initiated by the local NAVI tribe that inhabits that moon, as part of an infiltration ploy, he turns against his employers and protects the locals.

The concept of an AVATAR is firmly rooted in occult beliefs. I didn't fully understand this when I first watched the movie, but I do now, though my understanding is in no sense complete. In the film "The Secret,” (2006), produced by Rhonda Byrne, viewers are encouraged to study and emulate the avatars featured in the film. According to this "New Age" theory, AVATARS are individuals who have gained significant enlightenment through many reincarnations. They are seen as the "BUDDHAS" and "JESUSES" of this world. Essentially, according to this doctrine that was championed by Madam Helena Blavatsky through theosophy, we can each become a great soul, such as "Jesus" or Buddha, evolving to our best selves through several reincarnations.

This belief is a false doctrine.

Jesus is not an avatar but the creator son of God through who everything came into being (Colossians 1:16-17). Reincarnation isn't only unbiblical; it is a philosophical idea with pagan origins. Importantly, the human soul is not immortal; we live once, will be judged (Ecclesiastes12:14), and those found unworthy will face the termination of their existence, "The soul that sinneth, it shall die..." Ezekiel 18:20 (KJV). The redeemed will, for the rest of eternity, live on a renewed Earth (Revelation 21). As bible readers, we should be aware of these misleading doctrines and their impact on us. If you believe that reincarnation will absolve you of sin by ultimately purifying you, you will become careless and neglect your responsibility to God and your neighbour, which are the two summarised principles of the 10 commandments, the moral law that regulates the conduct of all beings in the universe. This is one of the harmful effects of such a philosophy. No wrong idea is ever harmless.

If you think you’re unaffected by this Luciferian ideology, consider how often you've heard people say, "May their soul rest in peace." Rest where? How can a dead person, who knows NOTHING (as stated in Ecclesiastes 9:5), truly rest? Rest is for the conscious, not the unconscious. There is no time between the moment you die and the first resurrection when Jesus returns. There is no gap because you are dead and "KNOW NOTHING."

What about phrases like, "He has gone to be with the LORD!" Where exactly? Do you understand where God resides and the conditions required to dwell in His presence? You will also hear others claim that the dead have gone to be with the angels or other versions of this or that. Death is very painful, but we must avoid uttering untruths during the demise of our colleagues, friends, or family members. Mindlessly repeating "feel good" phrases and ideas that we do not comprehend and are untrue only makes matters worse by obscuring the understanding of others about issues that have eternal and dire consequences. Such hypocritical statements can only hurt those alive instead of aiding them upward towards God.

Have you heard of the concept known as PANTHEISM as it relates to God? What about TRANSHUMANISM concerning human abilities and modifications to the body and mind? Have you ever heard of the NEUROLINK idea proposed by Elon Musk? In Avatar, this theme is greatly explored, and it is through a similar system that humans use to occupy genetically modified Na’vi bodies. Although the 2009 movie doesn't get to the point where Jake Sully gets other functional legs, his being fitted into a genetically modified body of the Na’vi tribe suggests that human beings can add or subtract what God has created to serve a better purpose, a blatant and heinous heresy. When God created man, his work was complete and perfect:

"And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day."

Genesis 1:31 (KJV)

Man cannot, therefore, employ his God-given intelligence to, without divine sanction, modify his or the body of others. This suggests that God's work is not only imperfect but that man has become like God in terms of intelligence and understanding, which is the lie the serpent made to Eve in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:5). In the Garden, the serpent suggested that God was selfish and manipulative. The secret of creation and its sustenance is with God, "For every house is built by man; but he that built all things is God." - Hebrews 3:4 (KJV). It has not been fully revealed to man and to so suggest is outright rebellion (Revelation 29:29). In this group of illegitimate exercise of power and authority fall operations such as gender reversing technologies. Technology cannot replace or improve the work of God, which is perfect. In any case, righteousness is the only means through which the secrets of God are revealed, not rebellion (Psalm 25:14)

Therefore, in the movie AVATAR (2009), man seeks salvation through self and technology. And as always, it fails terribly. Nature worship, which the Bible expressly condemns and is the foundation of Paganism, is highlighted among the NAVI (See Romans 1:25). The NAVI worship everything, the trees, the forest and the animals. Is this such a bad thing? What most people don't realise is that unless we properly conceptualise our relationship with what God has created, we are in great danger. This is the source of the dangerous idea that we are gods and everything is energy, which today has a terrible hold on most human beings. It is pantheistic, ungodly and outrightly unbiblical. God is the creator of the universe; he isn't the universe!

Trees and all the animals are great, but they were created by God for the benefit of humans (Genesis 1:26). To have greater regard for them than God is despicable and materialistic idolatry. Yet, Paganism has always been characterised by nature worship; it is distilled idolatry that's specifically proscribed by the First and the Second commandments. The second commandment expressly forbids the making of images of things in heaven or on earth as tools or objects of worship. How often do we witness such practices among Bible-professing Christians today? What, for example, is the function of crosses? Rosaries? And images of Jesus and Mary?

Nature worship primarily entails man thinking of himself as better than God, who is his greatest benefactor. Hence, when we elevate our mental or physical powers above God, we are "paganistic" and directly contravene the first commandment, "Thou shalt have no other gods before me" Exodus 20:3 (KJV). Self-worship began with Satan, the Dragon and serpent of old. This is the source of the war that led to him and a third of the angels being cast down to Earth (Revelation12:9). Having been created as the most beautiful and wisest of God's creations, he sought to selfishly appropriate these powers, which were a gift from God purposed to selflessly serve the created universe. It's important to understand that when we depart from God, we emulate (IMAGE) the fallen angel.

It is Lucifer who first sought to become a god. We reflect that image by depending on the self for enlightenment, sustenance and progress (Proverbs 3:5-6). That's why in Revelation, we are severely warned about worshipping the BEAST or its IMAGE (Revelation 14:9). To IMAGE is to behave like someone else, in principle! Witchcraft is dependent on nature and entails its worship through manipulation. Man was created by God to behave like God, disconnected from God, He is utterly powerless because his life is in God. Self dependency is therefore by nature Luciferian.

God doesn't hate technology, and one-day human beings will discover that the word of God is the source of all technology and is antecedent to all things, "In the beginning was the WORD ... (John 1:1). Unfortunately, most of the technology we celebrate in our world today has come to us through fallen angels and demonic powers whose aim is to lead men astray. Throughout the ages, such kinds of technology and knowledge have been used against man, making them worship themselves and demons whilst despising God in the process. Keen and humble students of the Bible will, however, realise that the Bible has always been ahead of technology in every sense. The Bible is beyond modernity for the word of God stretches yonder into the unfathomable eternity.

Let's illustrate how far ahead the Bible is ahead of human technologies in just one area. In terms of astronomy, there was a time when human beings bitterly contested as to whether the earth was flat or circular. All this while, the Bible already indicated in verses such as Isaiah 40:22 that it was not flat: "It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth ..." What's even more shocking is that this was before the age of telescopes and satellites 🛰 such as the Hubble. How could God not know yet he is the creator? While the Bible always accurately pictured the stars as numberless, man for a long time believed otherwise, contrary to scripture (Genesis 15:5). It, therefore, doesn't make sense that today, most educated men think highly of science more than the Bible which some dismiss as a collection of unverifiable Jewish folklore.

Isn’t this witchcraft and outright rebellion?

Another interesting feature of AVATAR (2009) is that it ushers in the "NEW SPACE AGE" through film. This is a Satanic deception, and here is why. The idea of man ever surviving or living on another planet suggests that God made a great mistake in limiting man to Earth. In Eden, man was given dominion over all trees except the tree of knowledge of good and evil in the middle of the Garden. In planetary terms, on the other hand, man was granted the right to rule the Earth and not any other planet. The Earth is so constructed that man cannot go beyond it. God ensured that. The idea that we can travel in space and occupy other planetary domains not permitted by God is outright Luciferianism. It is a serious distraction purposed to demean God and oppose His Word.

"And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth."

Genesis 1:28 (KJV).

Therefore, man's activities and powers are divinely circumscribed to the earthly domain. Excursions to the Moon or other planets for whatever reason aren't only technologically impossible, God has ordained it so. Man will, therefore, never live on Mars or any other planet, as suggested by the likes of Elon Musk and other space travel enthusiasts. The Bible is clear that after the destruction of sinners together with the first EARTH, the redeemed will live on a recreated EARTH as foreseen by John in Revelation 21. The prophet Isaiah also had a prophetic glimpse of this NEW EARTH (Isaiah 65:17-25). Thus, plans to explore other planets should be viewed as part of systematic deception by the enemy of God and humanity. The name Satan means the "adversary", and his work essentially opposes everything God stands for. The restless and unrelenting author of lies and confusion never ceases his evil schemes.

"Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen."

Romans 1:25 (KJV)

There is an excellent reason for examining movies such as Avatar because they're created to program our minds. Unknown to most people, the earth is a battle for the mind and soul of its every inhabitant. Daily, we are consciously and subconsciously influenced by the TV programs and movies that we watch, the news, the music we listen to, and most importantly, the education system. After a keen investigation for more than a decade, I have, through rigorous study and divine inspiration, concluded that Hollywood is a Satanic altar that will lead to the loss of millions of souls. The Bible counsels us to "... be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind." Romans 12:2 (KJV). Secularism is a religion and Satan is its high priest; its purpose is to oppose God and His Word. Unless we have the Bible as our guide and guard, we will be swept away by its lies.
