CURSE GOD AND DIE …

The story of Job in the Bible provides us with several lessons that we need to pay attention to as part of understanding the invisible spiritual realm. In an interesting conversation between God and Satan God boasts about Job, while Satan opposes God's analysis. Satan falswly claims that Job was only faithful because God had blessed him and created a hedge of protection about him:

"Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased inJobs' land.

Job 1:10 (KJV)

Rarely do we have recorded conversations between God and Satan. This conversation, therefore, provides an interesting perspective of the spiritual world and its dynamics, as well as the character of God and Lucifer, the fallen Cherub. The story of Abraham is similar to the Story of Job. In Genesis, God has an interested discussion with himself on his way to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. That reflection begins with an interesting question:

"And the Lord said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do; ..."

Genesis 18:17 (KJV).

Reflection is a very important mental process. False teachers who preach the "SECRET" Law of Attraction claim that God is ENERGY and exists in EVERYTHING, a pantheistic lie inspired by the Enemy of Souls. In this reflection by God about his relationship with Abraham, we see that God possesses the attributes of a being who has emotions, is understanding and thinks as we do. Therefore, God is offended when Sarah laughs about His promise to give them a child in old age. God is more human than we think, he feels our pain, he thinks, and makes decisions just as we do:

"And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; ..."

Exodus 3:7 (KJV).

The conversations between Satan and God and God and Abraham perfectly demonstrate God’s humanity. If we understand this truth, we are safe, for we have a best friend in God. Thinking of God as mere energy is a dangerous teaching that we must shun and push furthest away from our minds as it demeans God and makes him powerless.

God created everything but is more than everything! His creative power is INFINITE.

In the conversation between Satan and God, the former is lying, while the latter is always truthful. One of the spiritual insights I have lately developed and internalized the idea that God cannot LIE, "God is not a man, that he should lie; ..." (Numbers 23:19 KJV). When we think of God as a liar, we will not believe anything He says. On the other hand, when we understand that the creator of all things cannot LIE, we have no reason to disbelieve anything he says. Jesus, therefore, said, "I am the way, the truth and the life..." (John 14:6 KJV).

God isn't just TRUTHFUL, he is THE TRUTH!

In the conversation between Satan and God, the former alleges that Job was a liar and hypocrite, someone who was USING GOD, without genuinely loving God. How? Essentially, Satan was suggesting that if God stopped blessing and protecting Job, he would have no further business with God. According to Satan "Job was a USER." Have you noticed that this is the relationship most people have with God? They value God for what he gives them while their hearts are focused on themselves. The originator of this idea was Satan, the very person who was now falsely accusing Job of being SELFISH.

To prove Satan wrong, he is allowed to take away everything from Job, without taking his life. Yet Job remains faithful, just as God spoke before Satan executes his destructive scheme. Can you imagine how good life would be if everyone trusted God as opposed to their families, friends, employers, jobs, and wealth? All of the problems we today experience in life can be attributed to our inability to trust what God says about life. We think we know better and are often disappointed in the end as our thoughts. In the ideal state known as Eden, our thoughts perfectly align with God, the creator of all things. This is the true meaning of paradise.

Job was prosperous because he trusted God. But Jobs faithfulness is more than simply trusting God, he understood the nature of evil. Today, there are many people who believe that the evil they commit can go unpunished. Like Cain, they, murder Abel and still ask "Am I my brother's keeper?" When questioned about where they have been and what they have been doing. Nothing is ever hidden from God. All life is established on the spiritual principle of interconnectedness. Through God, we are connected to everything and when we severe that connection through selfish conduct, we must die:

"But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die."

Genesis 2:17 (KJV).

The very moment we disconnect from God, we begin dying because God is life. Yet, how many human beings are ignorant of God, His Character and His Word? The Bible is no ordinary book. It is unimaginable power embodied in words. No man can read the Bible and remain unchanged for by beholding we are changed (2 Corinthians 3:18). That's why the devil continually manufactures all sorts of distractions that seem more interesting than reading the Bible. We have time for everything except the very source of life and the most interesting book ever written: THE BIBLE.

If human beings studied the Bible with the same zeal with which they go to school, colleges and universities, life would be infinitely better. Instead, we have been bewitched by what we mistakenly call education and entertainment. Everytime I read the Bible I see something new that makes the book more magical than the witchcraft I watch in movies such as Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. I have made this habit of daily randomly opening the Bible and it is deeply satisfying. The Bible is extraordinary because when you read it, it's words give you a refreshing insight into life. The Bible is the magical wand. Yet, the enemy of souls who understands its power has ensured that Christianity and a life hidden in Christ is pictured as limiting and unnecessarily boring.

In Eden, Adam and Eve had everything they needed. How do I know this? The Bible uses symbols which if we don't understand, we can't even begin penetrating it's surface to its deepest depths. The trees of the garden that were available to man exemplify the fullnessness of divine provision, "And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow EVERY TREE that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; ..." Genesis 2:8 (KJV). Every tree means "everything man needed" for physical and spiritual sustenance. Pleasantness to the eyes means some trees were created to simply delight men and they were as many as God needed (entertainment), a clear allusion to man's access ro God's infinite nature, the true source of delight:

"Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength."

Nehemia 8:10 (KJV).

Another symbol is Eve. In the Bible, a woman represents the church. So Eve is the one who had to be deceived, not Adam. Eve is the woman without God, a church without scripture as its basis since the commandment about the tree of knowledge of good and evil is given to Adam, not Eve! We get our doctrines from the churches or the religions we patronise, and this explains why Babylon the false religious system is characterised as a harlot, a woman who sleeps with every man:

"And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mothe Of Harlots And Abomi nations Of The Earth."

Revelation 17:5 (KJV).

If a woman is a church, how do you identify if you are in the wrong church or religion? This is very simple. When Eve was being deceived, she was alone. She didn't have Adam, her man. That means that she was prostituting herself to another man, the devil. The true church of God must always have Jesus, the bridegroom and the man. This church is a virgin because it has pure doctrines that wholy depend on Jesus, the word of God. The temptation of Eve is therefore an indication of what happens when we don't have the word of God. Adam was created before Eve, because God's true thinking divined the necessity of a helper:

"And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him."

- Genesis 2:18 (KJV).

Jesus is the word of God, which was in the beginning of all things with God, "In the beginning was the Word, an,d the, Word was with God, and the Word was God." John 1:1 (KJV). God therefore created everything through His Word which was the only thing at the beginning. The true church of God depends entirely on scripture as the source of instruction and life. Jesus is the man and the Word of God, "And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God." Revelation 19:13 (KJV). The man who rebels is evidence of God's power, but isn't with God, and has to die due to the disconnection. It is in the Scriptures where we get life, "Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me." - John 5:39 (KJV).

Notice that in John 1:1, the word begins, but it later becomes God by being with God. The fact that you already exist without having created yourself logically implies that someone else created you. You can continue without Him, leading to death, or find Him and continue onto life, "the word with God becomes God" which is the miracle through which God created man in his image. If your life isn't copying and imaging God, your death is certain:

"And God sa,id, Le,t us make man in our image, after our ,likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, was and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth."

Genesis 1:27 (KJV).

In Genesis 1:27, there were three people, The Father, the Son, and the Spirit. These three spiritual entities are united in purpose through the three stages elaborated in John 1:1. The word begins alone, when it unites with God, it becomes like God. We become what we constantly think about, "For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: ..." Proverbs 23:7 (KJV). If men understood this truth, they would be as powerful as God just as God originally intended. Let us make men like us is a statement of selflessness. God is never threatened by sharing power, unlike most human beings. Yet Satan misrepresented God by lying to Adam and Eve that God didn't want man to become like Him:

"For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.:

Genesis 3:5;(KJV).

Essentially, Satan intimated that Life would be more interesting without God. How many people still believe and live that lie. Even as a child, I imagined myself living secularly and converting to Christianity just when I was about to die, because the version of Christians I then knew lived the most boring lives. Essentially, Lucifer's best opposition to God is to present the Christian life as the most boring thing any human being can do.

It is only when I began studying the Bible for myself that I began to see things differently.

Most of those we think to be Christians are actually Pharisaical, they have a form of religion that lacks the true power of a Godly life, yet it is these people we have set as standards of holiness as opposed to the word of God. This has been one of my greatest battles. Everyday, I have to choose whether to listen to the spirit of truth or pursue the false form of holiness that the devil has made popular, to discredit and denigrate Christianity.

There is something I have learnt in the book of Job that I am more than delighted to share with you. As a Godly scholar, Job understood the power of unrighteousness. He had great wealth and what do you do when you have money besides enjoying it? His sons enjoyed his money through regular feasts. Life is to be enjoyed, righteously!

If you have money and don't use it to improve your life, God will hold you accountable for hoarding it, just like the servant who hid the talent. Money needs to be used. And the best way Job's money was used was through what we today call "PARTYING." Job's sons were "party people." They thoroughly enjoyed life. Even when I don't have money, I always remind the person I am buying from that "money isn't my problem" because that's how I have internalized Psalms 23:1. When Larry Liza continually bothered me about writing a book, I was inspired to improve and better archive my reflections on the Bible. They are already a book. Later, I was inspired to create a website and Winnie Mandela made that possible.

Today we have:

www.thethreeangels.org

God was leading. Larry inspired, Winnie made it possible. I am daily humbled by how God operates to unite our various abilities. Indeed, he is the legitimate owner of all things we can ever desire, "For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills." - Psalms 50:10 (KJV).

God is unlimited power through righteousness, which simply means "doing what is right all the time." Job was always doing the right thing, all the time and this was the source of his great power and wealth (See Job 1:5). After every feast (enjoyment) he was too careful to sacrifice because when we are full we are always likely to abuse God: "But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation." Deuteronomy 32:15 (KJV).

Aren't the people we have assisted most the ones who always malign and misrepresent our character? Don’t they despise us when they have made it? Noah became naked when when he became drunk, without intending to. Perhaps, Job thought that during the parties his sons got drunk and inadvertently abused God. I am just thinking. The greatest way we abuse God is through pride, by thinking that we don't need him: "These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look ..." Proverbs 6:16-17 (KJV).

Job didn't know what went on in these parties, but he made sure that through pre-emptive sacrifices, he covered all the sins that were likely to have been committed in all those parties:

"And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually."

Job 1:5 (KJV).

Isnt it interesting that this is the same person Satan accused of using God. Job was even abused by his wife and asked to "curse God and die." Unlike Adam who was seduced by Eve, Job was unmoved by both his wife and three friends who constantly suggested that he must have committed some evil to be subjected to such punishment.

A life without God is certain death. And contrary to Satanic deception, nothing is as interesting as having the opportunity to commune with God through the Bible. Before I write, I don't even know what I am going to write, it just flows, with aligning insights I would have never imagined, and this is the most stimulating mental exercise I have ever experienced. My "dry bones" experience in Academia can't compare. My testimony is true, read your bible. At first, it will be boring, but if you persist, you will be pleasantly shocked by it's very refreshing daily insights in every area of life:

"This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success."

Joshua 1:8 (KJV).
